Marlene M. Kinney, age 78, of Clark Mills passed away on September 21, 2026, at UPMC Horizon Greenville.

She was born in Grove City on March 12, 1948, the daughter of Brandon and Ethel (Evans) Meyers.

On August 14, 1965, Marlene married Charles Kinney, he survives.

Marlene attended Lakeview High School and dedicated her life to caring for everyone around her. She touched countless lives with her kindness, compassion, and generous heart. Marlene had a way of making everyone feel loved and cared for, she truly was a mother to all. Her beautiful spirit, warm heart, and love of laughter will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marlene enjoyed reading, especially the newspaper, magazines, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years; four daughters, Lori Hricsina (Steve) of Franklin, Carolyn Barone (Chuck Carey) of Clark Mills, Lisa (Tony), Carissa Root (Vince) of Clark Mills; four grandchildren, Jacob (Jessica), Kayla, Dominic, Alexandria; four great-grandchildren, Prudence, Maci Mae, Kiley, Gracie; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Brandon Meyers, and a sister Barbara Temple.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.  A memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
