Martha Ann Shields

Miss Martha Ann Shields, 91, resident of the Methodist Home for the Aged, died Friday, April 15, 1966, at the home following an illness of six months.
She was born at Mt. Pleasant, Jefferson County, June 6, 1874, a daughter of James M. and Mary Thomas Shields. For many years, Miss Shields was a seamstress at Summerville/
She had been a member of Summerville Methodist Church since 1895.
There are no immediate survivors.
Services were held with the Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Carrier Cemetery, Summerville.
