Martha Jane Carlson

Martha Jane Carlson, 10, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Carlson, of Meadville, died of smoke asphyxiation during a fire at her home Tuesday, December 9, 1969.

She was born in Meadville May 20, 1959, a daughter of Richard W. and Marilyn Duggan Carlson.  Martha was in the 5th grade at Kerrtown Elementary School and attended Stone United Methodist Church.

Surviving, besides her parents, are one sister, Molly; two brothers, Larry and Dennis, all at home; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Harry Williams of Bradford; her paternal grandfather, Earl Duggan of Bradford; and several aunts and uncles.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
