Martha K. Hamilton

Martha K. Hamilton, 51, of Meadville, died Tuesday evening April 11, 2000, as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.  She was born in Ravenna, OH, February 3, 1949, a daughter of Kenneth and Alice Miller Maze.  She married George A. Hamilton August 18, 1968, and he survives.

She was a graduate of the Ravenna Public Schools, and had been employed as a Nurse Aide at Beverly Health Care Center, Meadville, for the past 14 years.  She was a former member of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church, and had assisted in the Food Stand at the Crawford County Fair of the East Mead Volunteer Fire Department.   She especially enjoyed quilting.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her father, Kenneth Maze of Hiaaffee, AK; two daughters, Tammy Hamilton and Tina Halsted (John) and one son, Clifford G. Hamilton, all of Meadville; two sisters, Marie Lutsky (John) of Hiaaffee and Joyce Taylor (James) of Prosperity, SC; two brothers, Robert Maze (Bernice) of Ravenna and Kenneth Earl Maze (Marilyn) of Corpus Christie, TX; three grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Samantha Halsted and Keirsten Shearer.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
