Mary Christley

Miss Mary Edith Christley, 80, died early Tuesday morning at Cribbs Methodist Home where she had resided the past two years.

She was a resident of Slippery Rock until she came to the home.  A graduate of Slippery Rock State Teachers College, she taught many years in public schools of the Slippery Rock area.

She was a member of Slippery Rock Methodist Church, the Woman's Society of Christian Service and the Ladies Rural Club of Slippery Rock.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Mrs. C. O. Christley of Slippery Rock and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
