Mary Alice Crane

Mrs. Mary Alice Crane, 83, widow of the late David P. Crane, died Monday morning after a long illness at her home in Hayfield Township.  She spent the early years of her life in Canonsburg, coming to this community 34 years ago.

Mrs. Crane was a member of the First Christian Church of Meadville.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Mary Spear of Meadville, Mrs. Rex Stewart of Meadville, Mrs. Bert Shorts of Canisteo, NY, Miss Jennie Crane and Mrs. Anna Boyd, at home; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
