Mary Cynthia Beers

Mary Cynthia Beers, 92, of Saegertown, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community, Meadville.

Born April 15, 1909, at Greenville, TX, she was the daughter of James and Mary Rebecca Allen Earles.

She married Marion E. Beers on October 13, 1926, at Bethel Methodist Church, Warren County.  He died November 14, 1982.

She retired from Talon in Meadville in 1971 after 22 years' employment.  She was a former member of the AF of L Machinist Union.

She was of Protestant Faith.

A loving mother and housewife, she enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening, but most of all her family.

Survivors include six children, Paul E. Beers of Saegertown, Mary Williams of Titusville, Howard L. and Helen Beers, both of Meadville, Beverly and William Sayre of Mesa, AZ, Ruth Beers of Plainville, CT and Ralph R. and Connie Beers of Conneaut Lake; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren and twenty-two great-great-grandchildren.

A son, Kenneth Beers; two daughters, infant, Eleanor and Gertrude Hatton; two sisters, Cassie Earles and Myrtle Earles and a granddaughter, Laura, died previously.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Vroman-Elcelsior Cemetery, Eldred Township, Warren County.
