Mary Dorrance

Mrs. Mary Dorrance, 91, widow of Sturges Dick Dorrance of Meadville, died Saturday, December 20, 1969, at Monadnock Nursing Home, Keene, NH, after a long illness.

Mrs. Dorrance was born at Jonesboro, IL, July 6, 1878, a daughter of Sidney and Phena Barringer Grear.  She married Mr. Dorrance March 28, 1912.  He died in November 1968.  She was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Surviving are two children, Mrs. William H. (Helen) Simpson of Keene and Sturges, Jr. of New York City; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
