Mary E. Karns
April 1, 1918 — September 15, 1993
Mary E. Karns, 75, of Saegertown, a homemaker, died Wednesday, September 15, 1993, at home after an extended illness.
She was born in Rockland, April 1, 1918, a daughter of Edward and Margaret Harkness Reagle. She married Fred L. Karns, October 11, 1943. He preceded her in death February 22, 1982.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include four daughters, Donna Karns and Mrs. John (Linda) Schmitt, both of Saegertown, Mrs. Kenneth (Nancy) Wilson, Jr. and Mrs. Lary (Winifred) Williams, both of Meadville; a son, Fred E. Karns of Meadville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Richard (Bertile) Lynn of Franklin and Mrs. Frank (Minnie) Barr of Kennerdell; six nieces and nephews; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Brandon Cemetery, Cranberry Township, Venango County.
