Mary Elizabeth Garver

Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Garver, 72, of Meadville, died Sunday, February 5, 1995, at Meadville Medical Center, following a three month illness.

She was born January 6, 1923, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Charles and Helen Mae (Robinson) Coggins.  She married John F. Garver October 21, 1948.  He died July 10, 1994.

She was a graduate of Westinghouse High School in Pittsburgh.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed craft work and playing bingo.  She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1, Pittsburgh.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Ritchey and Mrs. Jake (Ruth) Ziemianski, both of Meadville; one son, William Garver of Bandera, TX; two brothers, James Coggins of Penellas Park, FL and Raymond Coggins of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Old Sandy Cemetery, Polk, PA.
