Mary Elizabeth Tefft

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Tefft, 79, a resident of the Methodist Home for the Aged, died there Friday afternoon, October 18, 1963, after a long illness.

Mrs. Tefft was born at Saginaw, MI, August 10, 1884, a daughter of Thomas S. and Ida Reed Shaw.  She moved with her parents to Springville, NY, in 1902 and on August 27, 1910, he was married to the late Elmer B. Tefft.

For a number of years, she lived at Kenmore, NY and in 1942 moved to Randolph, NY, where she was active as a Methodist member of the Randolph Federated Church.  She had lived at the home about three years.

There are no near survivors.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery, Springville.
