Mary Ellen Houser

Mrs. Mary Ellen Houser, 81, widow of William A. Houser, died Sunday at her home, of Meadville, after an illness of several weeks.

Mrs. Houser's early years were spent in the Cochranton vicinity as the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Feldmiller.  A member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Mrs. Houser had been active in the ladies' Bible Class and the women's guild of that church.

Survivors include one son, Earl W. Houser of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. William J. Fox of Union Township and Mrs. Robert F. Bell of Hyattsville, MD; two brothers, Frederick Feldmiller of Cochranton and George A. Feldmiller of Meadville; a granddaughter, Mrs. Ray Williams of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
