Mary L. Boylan

Mrs. Mary L. Boylan, 81, widow of W. A. Boylan, died Thursday, August 27, 1953 at Smith Institute, Saegertown.

Born in Summerhill Township, she was a resident of Hayfield Township for many years and had been a life-long resident of the Meadville area.  She was the last survivor of the children of the late Alexander and Harriett Dearborn Wood.

Mrs. Boylan was a member of Stone Methodist Church, the Beason Light Class of the church and had been active in Meadville Grange and Myrtle Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include two sons, O. Glenn Boylan of Meadville and Chester Boylan of Stuebenville, OH and five grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
