Mary L. Schweitzer

Mary L. Schweitzer, 90, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since August 1989, formerly of Meadville, a retired sales clerk, died Wednesday, February 12, 1992, at Meadville Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Richmond Township, February 11, 1902, a daughter of George and Mertie Sanford Wolff.  She married John W. Schweitzer, July 5, 1930.  He preceded her in death November 16, 1963.

She retired as a sales clerk for Montgomery Ward Co.  She was a member of First Christian Church.  A graduate of the former Blooming Valley High School, she had attended Edinboro State Teachers College.

Survivors include several cousins.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Smith and two brothers, Walter and Eugene Wolff.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
