Mary S. Lemke

Mrs. Mary S. Lemke, 85, of Meadville, widow of Gustav C. W. Lemke, died at Spencer Hospital Saturday morning.

She spent her early life in Chicago, moving to Crawford County 27 years ago.  Her husband died in March of 1939.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church.

Survivors include nine sons and daughters, August of Kingsford, MI, Arnold of Erie, Mrs. Joseph Walcheska of St. Paul, MN, Martin of Cumberland, WI, Mrs. Arthur Tolver of Crescent Beach, British Columbia, Mrs. John Anderson of Durban, Manitoba, Canada, Emil of Saegertown, Mrs. Wilson Hunt of Meadville and Edwin Rost of Westchester, IL; thirty-two grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
