Mary Monnin

Mrs. Mary Monnin, 74, wife of Homer Monnin, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Sunday, January 24, 1982, after a sudden illness.

She was born in Richmond Township, December 9, 1907, daughter of Samuel and Ida Pratt Jones.  She married Mr. Monnin June 5, 1926.

Mrs. Monnin was employed for several years in the housekeeping department of Allegheny College.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Meadville Button Club.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Margaret) Shaw of Jackson Center and Mrs. Raymond (Autumn) Theuret of Meadville; a half brother, James Scowden of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
