Mary M. Wilson of Millbrook, Jackson Center, Pa passed away peacefully of natural causes on Sunday, April 19, 2026. She was 83.
She was born April 23, 1942 in Hallston, PA, Butler County to Melvin L. and Myrtle R. Karns Rearick.
Mary was a 1960 graduate of Lakeview High School and then graduated from The New Castle School of Business. She worked for several years for State Farm Insurance in Grove City, and then retired in 1988 from Interstate Auto Auction of Mercer where she worked for many years in the office. Mary was a long time member of The Millbrook Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and Assistant Treasurer.
She was a long time member of the Lady Worth Rebekah Lodge and also was a member of The Happy Homemakers Club of Worth Township. She enjoyed taking care of her home and loved raising flowers.
Mary married Charles A. “Charlie” Wilson April 1, 1961 and he preceded her in death January 29, 2016.
Mary leaves behind her loving family: a daughter Nancy A. (Rick) Magargee and a son Charles R. “Chuck” (Robin) Wilson; along with three grandchildren: Christina (Tim) McFeaters, Kelly Magargee and Scott (Brandy) Magargee and two great-grandchildren: Coulter Magargee and Henry Magargee. Also a brother M. Dewey Rearick and a sister-in-law Jean Rearick survive.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother Harry Rearick.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro.
A visitation will take place at 2:00 PM, Saturday (4-25-26) until time of service in the Millbrook Presbyterian Church, 1232 Millbrook Road, Jackson Center, Pa. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, in the church with Pastor Evelyn Beebe and Pastor Joseph Rearick, Mary’s nephew, officiating.
Mary will be laid to rest beside Charlie, in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Twp.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to The Millbrook Presbyterian Church, 1232 Millbrook Road, Jackson Center, PA 16133 in memory of Mary.
