Maude Delamater Haynes

Mrs. Maude Delamater Haynes, 79, of Guys Mills, died Thursday, October 24, 1963, at City Hospital after a short illness.  She was the widow of George F. Haynes.

Mrs. Haynes was born at Delamater Corners November 23, 1883, a daughter of Albert and Laura Smith Delamater.  She was a graduate of Edinboro State Normal School and was a teacher for a number of years before he marriage.  She was a member of Lyona Community Church and Lyona Friendship Club and had won a number of prizes for her paintings.

She is survived by a son, Fred of Delamater Corners and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Lyona Cemetery.
