Mazie B. Spencer

Mazie B. Spencer, 91, of Canton, OH, formerly of Meadville, died Sunday, October 11, 1987, at her home following a period of failing health.

Mrs. Specner was born in McKeesport, March 10, 1896, a daughter of Robert and Sarah Belsar Henderson.  She married Lloyd G. Spencer April 25, 1916.  He preceded her in death July 20, 1978.

She and her husband operated the former Quality Cash Grocery Store in Meadville for 37 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church and the church's Plus Ultra class; and Rebekah Lodge, Meadville.

Survivors include a nephew, John L. Henderson, with whom she resided in Canton and one niece and one other nephew.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
