Melvin E. Flickinger

Melvin E. Flickinger, 53, of Meadville, died Sunday, April 11, 1971, at Roswell Park Memorial Hospital, Buffalo, where he had been a patient three weeks.

He was born in Meadville, February 5, 1918, a son of Edward H. and Bessie E. Hamilton Flickinger.  He married Leona McGuire December 12, 1947.

Mr. Flickinger was employed by the PA Department of Transportation and had been employed previously by the street department of the city of Meadville.  He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his widow; a son, Melvin T. of Meadville; and his father, a resident of the Mead Nursing Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
