Metha J. Hunter
October 7, 1889 — February 23, 1987
Metha J. Hunter, 97, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since 1960, formerly of Conneaut, OH, died Monday, February 23, 1987, at Wesbury following an extended illness.
Miss Hunter was born in Conneaut Lake, October 7, 1889, a daughter of Lyman and Esther Peters Hunter.
She was a nurse for many years and was an Army Nurse Attendant at the former Camp Reynolds for two years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Greenville.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Jeanette Bates of Ashtabula, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Hartstown Cemetery.
