Mrs. Mildred F. Hanks, 68, of Meadville, wife of Edward J. Hanks, Sr., died at City Hospital Wednesday, February 9, 1977, after a sudden illness.
Born in Edinboro on December 19, 1908, she was a daughter of Loren and Emaline Burge Lasher. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married January 21, 1927; a daughter, Miss Elaine Hanks of Meadville; a son, Edward (Jim) Hanks, Jr. of Cambridge Springs; a sister, Mrs. Perry (Mabel) Darling of Meadville; a brother, Michael Lasher of North East and two granddaughters.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Edinboro Cemetery.
