Mildred F. Kurtz

Midlred F. Kurtz, 71, of Meadville, died Wednesday, September 2, 1987, at Meadville Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Kurtz was born in Pittsburgh, February 17, 1916, a daughter of Lee and Ida Townsend Sperry.  She married Russell E. Kurtz September 28, 1935.  He survives.

She was a housewife. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the church's MCR Sunday School.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Wayne Kurtz of Saegertown and Stanley Kurtz of Meadville; four brothers, Rodney Sperry of Roanoke, VA, Raymond Sperry of Atlantic, Robert and Wesley Sperry, both of Mesa, AZ and five grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
