Mildred L. Smith

Mrs. Mildred L. Smith, 69, of Meadville, Woodcock Township, died Thursday, March 12, 1987, at Meadville Medical Center after a short illness.

She was born in West Mead Township, May 18, 1917, a daughter of Raymond and Marietta Barton Lewis.  She married Edgar D. Smith July 25, 1941.

Mrs. Smith was a housewife.  She was a member of Meadville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, the adult Sunday school class of the church and the Women's Missionary Prayer Fellowship of the church.  She also was a member of Randolph Grange and Col. Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Becky) Kurtz of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Helen) Wescott of Seneca Falls, NY and three grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
