Minnie M. Baumgardner

Minnie M. Baumgardner, 78, of Meadville, died Wednesday morning, January 26, 1972, at City Hospital where she had been a patient since December 10, 1971.  She had been ill for several months.

Mrs. Baumgardner was born at Holsopple, Somerset County, on March 7, 1893, a daughter of Kore and Rebecca Shaffer Kaufman.  She married Mr. Baumgardner on July 15, 1915.  Mrs. Baumgardner was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. George (Mary) Schrall of Natrona Heights and Mrs. Maurice (Mae) Smith of Coffeyville, KA; one son, Ernest D. of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. John (Rebecca) Moore of St. Petersburg, FL and Mrs. William (Elsie) Walker of Somerset; five brothers, Lemon Kaufman of Rockwood, Howard Kaufman of Davidsville, Walter Kaufman of St. Johns, MI, Foster Kaufman of Harrisburg and Alfred Kaufman of South Williamsport; and eight grandchildren.

Interment was in Richland Cemetery, Richland Township, Cambria County.
