Mirl F. Smith

Mrs. Mirl F. Smith, 71, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Monday, September 24, 1973, after an illness of several weeks.

She was born at Saegertown, May 21, 1902, a daughter of Harry J. and Flora B. Gehr Flick.  She married Nathan R. Smith, March 2, 1920.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Autumn Merriman of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Calhoun and Mrs. Lula St. John, both of Meadville and Mrs. Bessie Haines of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Canada; three granddaughters; one grandson and one great-granddaughter.

Two brothers, Frank and Glenn Flick, preceded her in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
