Myrta J. Mccoy

Mrs. Myrta Jervis McCoy, 87, widow of Samuel McCoy of Shippenville, died Thursday at The Methodist Home for the Aged of the Erie Conference.

A daughter of Daniel Kelly and Hannah Ferris Jervis, she was born July 27, 1868, in Rockdale Township.  She spent her early life in Crawford County before moving to Shippenville where she lived for many years.

She moved to the home October 10, 1934.  She had been in poor health for many years but was not seriously ill until the last few days.

Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Nettie Walton of Mishawaka, IN and a stepson, A. B. McCoy of Struthers, OH.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Shippenville.
