Myrtle Leona McFarland, 85, of Saegertown, died Friday, February 10, 1989, at Meadville Care Center following a period of failing health.
She was born in Cochranton July 28, 1903, a daughter of Edward and Margaret Harry. She married Gordon Rex McFarland, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Courson of Saegertown; a son, Harry McFarland of Florida; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
