Nancy Jane Rudd

Nancy Jane Rudd, 67, of Meadville, died Sunday, December 14, 1997 at her residence following a one year illness.

She was born July 29, 1930 in Meadville, a daughter of the late James and Martha Wheatley Oram.  She married Donald L. Rudd July 16, 1948.  He survives.

Mrs. Rudd was a 1948 graduate of Meadville High School and a member and past president of Alpha Gamma Sorority.  She was a homemaker.  She was a former member of Golden Crown Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

She was a member of Christ Church, Episcopal and its church women.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Mary Rudd Dietrich of Waterford and Susan Rudd Jageman of Saegertown; one son, Bruce Rudd of Saegertown; one sister, Martha (Liz) Dronsfield of Durham, NC and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, James Earl Rudd who died in the Vietnam War in 1968.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
