Norman C. Gilbert, 30, of Guys Mills, died Sunday, April 20, 1975, at Spencer Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Meadville, September 17, 1944, son of Charles L. and Romaine Hotchkiss Gilbert.
He worked as a licensed X-Ray technician at Pittsburgh, Rochester and at the Upstate Medical Center at Syracuse as a specialist in radioisotope technology. He most recently worked at Meyer Memorial Hospital in Buffalo. He was a member of Park Congregational Church.
Survivors include his mother of Guys Mills; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. V. Blackhurst, Sr. of Meadville; a brother, Roger of Guys Mills; two nephews and several aunts and uncles.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment of cremated remains was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
