Norman D. Wentz

Norman D. Wentz, 79, of Guys Mills, a carpenter, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 7, 1993, at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in New Springfield, OH, December 16, 1913, a son of Dallas and Eva Seidner Wentz.  He married Bertha Dennis, September 8, 1939.  She survives.

He was a self-employed carpenter and also had worked for Gillette and Smith Lumber Co. of Townville.  He was a member of Lyona Bible Church for 41 years.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Dennis D. Wentz and Thomas A. Wentz, both of Guys Mills; two sisters, Lee Miller of New Springfield, OH and Pearl Rauch of Columbiana, OH; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Keith N. Wentz; two sisters, Dora Schwabb and Helen Wentz and three brothers, Russell Wentz, Paul Wentz and Harry Wentz.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Lyona Cemetery.
