Olga Sleptzoff, 96, of Saegertown, died Sunday, September 13, 1992, at Springs Manor, Cambridge Springs, after a period of declining health.
Born in Moscow, Russia, October 22, 1895, she was the daughter of the late Louis Baron de Norman and the late Kathryn Sassetski Baron de Norman.
Mrs. Sleptzoff was a graduate teacher, having taught classes in Russian, French and German in the Soviet Union and in Germany.
During World War I, she served as a military nurse in Moscow.
She was a life member of the Russian Orthodox Church.
In 1968, her husband, retired Col. Vasily Sleptzoff, whom she married in 1916, died. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, George and Constantine Baron de Norman.
Survivors include a son, Alexander Sleptzoff of Saegertown; three grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Lakeside Cemetery, Erie.
