Orlo Phillips
September 4, 1914 — August 24, 1940
Orlo Phillips, 25, of Meadville, was instantly killed Saturday when his motorcycle crashed head on into an approaching automobile near Sheakleyville in Mercer County.
He was a graduate of Randolph High School; he was a member of Lodge No. 99 of the Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Phillips of Saegertown; a sister, Mrs. Willard Shorts of Townville; his grandfather, David Phillips of Saegertown; his grandmother, Mrs. W. A. Cutshall of Guys Mills.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
