Oscar E. (Butch) Britton

Oscar E. (Butch) Britton, 85, a resident of the Crawford County Home since 1974, formerly of Guys Mills, died Monday, February 2, 1987, at the home following a two-year illness.
Mr. Britton was born in Guys Mills, April 9, 1901, a son of J. Reynolds and Jennie Beuchat Britton.
He was a life-member of Randolph Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Nina Pryor of Danville, VA and Mrs. Inez Heme of Guys Mills. He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Britton; and one sister, Ruth Meyer.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
