Pamela J. Dinsmore, 69, of Meadville passed away Wednesday morning, May 13, 2026, at the home of her son.
She was born in Natrona Heights on November 7, 1956, the daughter of John D. and Louise E. (Furmanski) Volna.
She was a 1974 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and a 1999 graduate of Edinboro University with an associate of science degree.
On April 26, 1975 Pam married Ronald L. Dinsmore, he passed away November 8, 2020.
Pam worked in banking for 24 years (1997-2020) and retired to take care of her husband. She then went on to work at Rise where she said she found her forever job. Thank you to everyone for accepting her especially Billy.
Life was her family; she loved her kid’s sports and was involved in all their activities.
She was a member of Italian Civic Club and Vernon Central Hose, where she was an officer in the ladies auxiliary and a board member.
She is survived by two sons, retired chief Warren officer William J. Dinsmore (Tanya), Gregory A. Dinsmore; a daughter, Jennifer L. Bodner (Nick); two sisters, Anita L. Volna, Judith L. Martin (Mike); two brothers, David P. Volna (Lisa), Daniel J. Volna (Susan); five grandchildren, Ethan Dinsmore, Brennen Dinsmore, Emmett Dinsmore, Natalie Jablonski, Lorilae Bodner, and Griffin Bodner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son Ronald L. Dinsmore, and a brother John M. Volna.
As per Pam’s wishes cremation was chosen and there will be no services. ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED TO ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
Inurnment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
