Pauline M. Watson

Mrs. Pauline M. Watson, 78, of Meadville, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 1988, at home.

She was born in Durham, NC, on May 27, 1909, a daughter of Holman Wyatt and Lenna Evans Emory.  She married Garth W. Watson in 1930.

She had owned Mary Pauline's Millenary Shop in Meadville.  She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Spencer Hospital Aux., Meadville Lioness Club, Americal Legion Aux. and Meadville YWCA.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Janet) Wyatt Gwizdak of Tyrone; two sons, David Garth of Watson of Madison, OH and Paul Douglas Watson of Somersworth, NH; three brothers, Macon Emory and Jack Emory, both of Durham and Wyatt Emory of Fredericksburg, VA; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Dolores Markey; a brother, Joseph Emory and two sisters, Ruby Beck and Hazel Davis.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
