Pearl D. Gongaware

Mrs. Pearl D. Gongaware, 69, wife of Jerry C. Gongaware of Meadville, died Monday night at Meadville City Hospital following a long illness.

She was born at Irwin, Westmoreland County, and spent most of her life in the Greensburg area.  She moved to Meadville about five years ago.

She was a member of Brush Creek Lutheran Church, Adamsburg.

Surviving, besides Mr. Gongaware, are two sons, Gilbert S. of Meadville and J. Clark of Greensburg; eleven grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Tilly Dunkle of Baldwin Park, CA, Mrs. Norman Michael of Los Angeles, Mrs. J. N. Weddell of McKeesport and Mrs. L. R. Judge of Niagara Falls, NY; two brothers, John M. and Charles F. Rose, both of Irwin.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Westmoreland Memorial Park.
