Percy J. Derouchie

Percy J. DeRouchie, 76, of Buffalo, NY, formerly of Meadville, died Wednesday, April 10, 1974 at the Sisters Hospital (Buffalo), where he was a patient for 10 weeks.

He was born at Fort Covington, NY, February 15, 1898, a son of Horace and Alice Guyette DeRouchie.  He was married to Ethel V. More who died in 1969.  He later married Ida Brooke.

Mr. DeRouchie was a security guard at a Buffalo bank and previously worked a farm at Guys Mills.  He was a member of the Canadian Legion of War Veterans and served with the Canadian armed forces.

He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Powell of Meadville; two sons, Roy C. of Guys Mills and P. William of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. Leslie (Eva) DuPrey and Mrs. Bell Richardson of Rochester, NY and Mrs. Sidney (Mae) Woodell of Ormond Beach, FL; and two brothers, Ernest of Paramount, CA and Floyd of Lynwood, CA.

A son, Robert, preceded him in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
