Former Albion resident, Peter Jack Mikovch, 62, of Bowling Green, KY, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Greenville Hospital in Bowling Green.
Born in Cranesville December 8, 1937, he was a son of Peter James and Helen Oleyar Mikovch. On August 14, 1965, he married Alice Kay Shontz, who survives.
A 1962, graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, for 35 years, he was a member of Zem Zem Shrine of Erie. He was also a member of Albion Masonic Lodge 30.
He was a member of the Presbyterian church in Bowling Green.
In 1986, he retired as superintendent for the Norfolk Southern Railroad after 27 years. During his retirement, he worked for Heilig-Meyers Furniture Co. in Bowling Green.
In addition to his wife of 34 years, survivors include two daughters, Susan E. Mikovch of Lindenhurst, IL and Cheryl L. Mikovch of Louisville, KY; a son, Andrew J. Mikovch (Leigh Peyton) of Covington, KY; a sister, Joyce Schantz (James) of Cranesville; two brothers, James Mikovch (Phyllis) of Cranesville and Donald Mikovch (Wanda) of Alexandria, VA and sixteen nieces and nephews.
Services were held with Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery, Conneaut Lake, PA.
