Philip R. Duffy
July 3, 1893 — March 13, 1968
Philip R. Duffy, 74, of Alpena, MI, formerly of Meadville, died Wednesday, March 13, 1968, at Miami, FL of a heart attack while visiting friends.
He was born in Sharon, July 3, 1893, and was employed as a machinist for the Universal Fluid Dynamics Co. of Michigan. He was a member of Masonic Lodge at Alpena.
Surviving are his widow, the former Gladys Doutt of Hayfield Township; a daughter, Mrs. Olive Hollerby of Columbus, OH; a brother, Howard of McAllen, TX; three grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Fred Fox of Meadville and Mrs. Walter Lent of Harmonsbrug.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Denny Cemetery.
