Phyllis A. Redzinak, 81, formerly of the Mercer area, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 after an extended illness.
Born in Greenville, PA on November 3, 1944 she was the only daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Niezgoda) Redzinak.
After graduating from Reynolds Area High School in 1962, Phyllis worked as a bookkeeper for the former Fredonia Milling Company of Fredonia, PA. After the feed mill closed, she worked in the manufacturing and assembly department of the former R.D. Werner Ladder Company of Greenville, PA. Phyllis spent over 33 years there.
Her love and caring for animals, especially those of the equine family, was tremendous.
Survivors include cousins and one brother, Edward Redzinak.
Heartfelt gratitude goes out to the staff of Saint John XXIII Home for their compassionate care, thank you so much. A thank you also goes out to Helping Hands Health Network and Hospice Care of Hermitage.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND BLACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro where friends will be received on Friday February 13, 2026 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Burial will follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery on Saturday February 14, 2026 at 11am.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. At the present time there will be no services.
