Rachael Arthurs Leberman

Mrs. Rachael Arthurs Leberman, wife of L. L. Leberman, of Meadville, died Tuesday night at City Hospital following an illness of several months.

A graduate of Edinboro State Teachers College, Mrs. Leberman had been a Meadville School teacher for 25 years prior to her marriage.  She was a member and former president of Wesleyan Service Guild of Stone Methodist Church, a member of Stafford Post Aux., American Legion, and of its 8 and 40 Salon.  She also was a member of Myrtle Rebekah Lodge, Meadville Womans Club and Meadville Grange.

Survivors, besides her husband, include a stepson, Richard R. Leberman; a nephew, Lawrence A. Johnson; a sister, Mrs. Warren Shearer, Hartstown, and a brother, Dean Arthurs of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
