Ralph J. Winters

Ralph J. Winters, 96, of Kerrtown, died at North Park Manor Sunday, August 28, 1983, after an illness of several years. He had been a patient there for one and one-half years.
He was born at Kerrtown July 10, 1887, a son of Patrick and Fannie Greenawalt Winters. He married Thelma Griffiths, April 28, 1910.
He operated Winter's Poseyland for more than 50 years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and a former member of Cussewago Oddfellows Lodge.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Russell N. of Redwood City, CA and Gerald W. of Meadville; four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
