Ranel Johnson
February 21, 1889 — August 15, 1961
Ranel Johnson, 72, of Meadville, died Tuesday, August 15, 1961, while visiting a son, Joseph (Buddy) at Milwaukee, WI. Death occurred at a Milkwaukee hospital. Johnson had been in ill health for eight years.
A retired Erie Railroad Co. employee, Johnson was born in Mississippi February 21, 1889. He was a member of St. John's Baptist Church.
He is survived by his widow, the former Delaney Randall; the son; a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Harris of Meadville; a brother, Wilson of Johnson of Meadville; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
