Raymond Marshall Beatty

Raymond Marshall Beatty, 61, Meadville, died at home Wednesday, May 16, 1973, after a sudden illness.

Born in Woodcock Township on August 30, 1911,  he was a son of Wilbur A. and Leona Roudebush Beatty.  He married Charlotte Lilly on July 13, 1935.  Mr. Beatty was employed by Talon Division of Textron as a truck driver for the past five years.  He previously operated Beatty's Garage at Blooming Valley for many years.  He was a member of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church and West Mead 2 Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his widow; three daughters, Mrs. William (Marsha) Scott of Meadville, Mrs. Donald (Diane) Harned of Meadville and Mrs. Wayne (Roberta) Dean of Meadville; a step-son, Kenneth Herrick of San Rafael, CA; two brothers, Oscar J. of Blooming Valley and Robert of Philadelphia; several nieces and nephews and seven grandchildren.

Service were held at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
