Reba Johnson Danforth

Reba Johnson Danforth, 86, of Townville, died Thursday, October 6, 1994 at Meadville Medical Center, following a short illness.  Through the years "Gram" was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was born October 3, 1908, in Steamburg, PA, a daughter of James and Gertrude (Rudler) McArthur.  She married Lee Johnson who died in 1950 and subsequently married Clayton Danforth in 1956.  He survives.

She was a life member of Conneautville Chapter #381 Order of Eastern Star, in which she was a Golden Star recipient signifying 50 years of membership.  She also was a member of the Amicus Club of Springboro and the Springboro Garden Club.

Survivors, in addition to her husband include, two daughters, Wilma McQuiston of Mercer and Shirley Weidner of Conneaut Lake; two sisters, Georgia Headley of Conneautville and Leona Boyle of Cochranton; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Johnson and one brother, Paul McArthur.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Spring Cemetery, Springboro.
