Richard Arthur Pittner

Richard Arthur Pittner, 34, of Meadville was pronounced dead at the scene, along with his son, James Pittner, on May 4, 1974 as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born in Pittsburgh, September 20, 1939, a son of Karl J. and Agnes Shonka Pittner.  He married Ruth Ann Rhodes September 27, 1958.  He was employed as a linesman by the Pennsylvania Electric Co. and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 30; and of the Meadville Club.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Patricia A. and Susan and a son, Richard Allen, who was injured in the accident, all at home; his parents of Harmonsburg and a sister, Mrs. Edward Jean Callan of Conneaut Lake.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
