Richard C. Hannah

Richard C. Hannah, 66, of Hartstown, a former Meadville Forging Co. employee, died Friday, October 1, 1993 at the VA Medical Center, Erie, after an extended illness.

He was born May 1, 1927 in James City, a son of Phillip S. and Vazilla Murray Hannah.  He married Antionette S. Dompierre on April 22, 1961.  She died August 15, 1991.

He retired from Meadville Forging Co. as a foreman.  He served for 20 years in both the US Air Force and the US Navy.  He served in World War II, in the Korean War and the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Veterans of Vietnam War Post 52.

Survivors include a son, Philip E. Hannah of Meadville; a sister, Bernice Cowan of Oklahoma; and three brothers, Leo Hannah of Conneaut Lake, Donald Hannah of Delaware and Eugene Hannah of California.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
