Richard Allen Latchaw

Richard Allen Latchaw, 64, of Greenville, passed away on December 26, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Franklin on January 2, 1961, to parents Leroy and Mary Jane (Carter) Latchaw.

Richard earned his GED and later married his wife Cheri (Wagler) Latchaw on July 22, 1989; in 2025 he retired from PenDot as an equipment operator.

Richard enjoyed camping and riding ATVs in his spare time and also loved being with friends and family.

Richard is survived by his wife, Cheri Latchaw; a sister, Laura Latchaw, of Florida; two brothers Herb Latchaw, of Missouri, and Barry Latchaw, of Clintonville, PA; and many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; his oldest brother, Chuck Latchaw; and his oldest sister Opal Stewart.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND BLACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro.
