Rickey E. Barr

Rickey E. Barr, age 70, of Meadville, passed away Saturday morning March 28, 2026, in Meadville Medical Center TCU.

He was born in Oil City on May 22, 1955, a son of William Banks Bar, III and Patricia Ann (Dolby) Barr.

On September 10, 1988, Rick married the former Rachel Peterman, she survives.

He was a self-employed carpenter for many years and was previously employed at Foulks Carpet One Floor & Home, Meadville. Rick was a carpenter for 50 years.

He was a member of the Salvation Army and Meadville Station # 27 where he was the past president. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 37 years; he is survived by two daughters, Shannon and Amber; two sons, Jason and Michael; a brother, Jeff Barr and his wife Cathy; a sister, Deb Probst and her husband Perrt; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Randy Barr and a sister Gail Miller.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family. ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED TO ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
